I was referred to them by my Primary after we moved to the area and my old doctor is a long drive away. I called and got a voice mail that said to leave a message and someone would call me back to make an appointment, not to call back and leave more than one message, that they are very busy and will return messages in the order received. That was several weeks ago! I have never heard from them. I asked my doctor to be referred back to my old TMJ doctor whose clinic answered their phone and got me in for appointments and was excellent (TMJ Sleep Solutions in Bellevue or Silverdale). This is really unacceptable patient care on the part of UW! If they are not taking new patients they should just say so, so that people with jaw pain, sleep problems, etc can get help somewhere else in a timely manner.

I can not thank you enough for your help in getting my tooth removed. It was a bit of a wait but one of the few to take Medcaid in Washington that would extract my tooth. During the wait for the extraction I was nervous about nitrous and the injection of local anesthesia not being enough. I was able to only have one time where I jumped. (I normally require general anesthesia.) The care that was provided was trauma informed and was successful in removing a molar.

Have gotten much better at answering the phone and making appointments! My mouth is on fire. They're the only ones who I can find that can help with these things. Dr. Jasmine Olsen is one of the most thorough and kindest medical providers I've seen, and I've been to over 100 in my 19 years of chronic pain/problems. Unfortunately, she's leaving to open her own practice.

I have had three appointments here since mid October. I have a TMD displaced disc which is very painful. The dentist, Dr Rania Abasaeed spent two hours with me during my first appointment and plenty of time with me during my next two visits. She is a very good listener, knowledgeable and takes time to explain things to me. My condition is slow to heal but I was given a care plan and exercises that have been helpful. I like the fact that they haven't tried to sell me devices, etc. Their PCR, Edgar adjusted my mouth guard and it's now so much more comfortable. The only reason I didn't give a 5 star rating is because of the difficulty setting up an appointment - there was a 2 month wait but I was able to get in sooner by getting on a cancellation list. When scheduling my appointment I was persistent and I called several times a day for 3 days until someone answered. When I leave my appointment I always set up my next visit before I leave. I am getting excellent care. Clearly they are short staffed and underfunded, which is likely why they don't have a more progressive IT infrastructure - they don't have Epic. I went to this clinic for their expertise and also because they take Medicare

Unfortunately they do not accept WA Apple/Medicaid patients. They also don't do Sleep Apnea devices and redirected me to UW medicine Pulmonologists. It's a shame, eapecially when it's so conveniently located within Montlake hospital
